This website is for the band Tiger and the Sun. One of my major priorities for the site was to make it updateable in a way which a person with no web development experience could update it. How I have done this was to have as much content as possible drawn from external, mostly social media, places and displayed on the site. For example if Tiger and the Sun wanted to add a new track to the site all they need to do is update their SoundCloud page with the new track and it would be displayed on the site.

I have also made the social media buttons are also easy to find so the site can be easily shared with a friend.

As for the visual aspect I wanted something consistent with the image the band was already using. So I borrowed the three most dominant colours involved in the image (red, a light yellow and black) and incorporated them into the layout of the site in a readable and aesthetically pleasing manner. The striped background gives the content a little bit more depth as well as fits in well with Tiger part of the band's name.
